VEGArte - Bachelor Fashion Collection

c o n c e p t: "my body is a G A R D E N, not a graveyard!"

This is the personal manifesto, through which I intend to raise public awareness of the exaggerated meat consumption.

The OECD meat consumption report shows that the actions of the human factor are irresponsible. Are we aware of the effects of our own actions or are we doing like this because we don’t have enouth information ?!

Starting from the premise that we are what we eat, education and food philosophy can change our way and lifestyle. Day by day we are increasingly seeing consumer products with the label - VEGAN, can this be applied in the fashion industry?

My intention is to propose some fashion outfits that reminds for meat consumers that there are countless alternatives that can lead us to a better world, a world in which the animals are equal to us.

I strongly believe in Veganism and through this project I propose a fashion design manifest about what the world would look like without "blood on the plate".

So, the chromatic I used is pure, refleshing colors, a combination of white and green of nature.

Each item proposes a reinterpretation of a tailor, and the manifesto will be played back by the auxiliary pieces - PVC clothes and cloaks - inside of them you will attach vegetables, fruits and vegetables all with one message "GO VEGAN!"

The tailor, expresses the ideal condition of humanity, of civilization, and in this sense it will acquire oversized parts, collar, curves, etc.

The purpose of the collection is to reflect and pay more attention to our condition as a human decision maker regarding the planet's health, the question is: does our behavior towards the environment require changes? It is up to us to intervene!

Another element in the collection of collections is - PVC plastic - it refers to the plastic with which we feed our animals instead of recycling it and using it rationally.

Adapted to the size of the jackets and positioned over the tailors, PVC jackets feature the characters of my collection as plastic wrapped and give the viewer a packed image. The greens of nature, expressive forms of vegetation and other vegan resources will be introduced into some sections of clothing.

Rain jackets are mostly made of PVC. The key element of the extra pieces is the oversized pocket, supplied with vegetables, fruits, greens, live flowers.
